Founding President of the Croydon Park Business Chamber, Hassan Moussa of RM Gregory Promoprint has served the Croydon Park local community for years. By lobbying all three councils of Georges River Rd (GRR) to improve conditions for local businesses, to keep business local and was instrumental in calling for a Tripartite Committee amongst all 3 councils to make talks easier and less time consuming on Board Members – all volunteers who would take time away from their own small businesses to help all the businesses in CP.

This eventually led to the streetscape revitalisation of GRR where at one time had 17 empty shops due to the closure of the banks. RM Gregory are Silver Sponsors of the Experience Croydon Park Festival, Nov 12

This is the Croydon Park Youth Committee’s second year running a Halloween Fundraiser event to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

In 2015, the youth committee approached local businesses to sponsor the event, together with these business sponsors and on the night donations, $1,388.80 was raised for CMRI in 2015. The event won a 2016 Burwood Rotary Award.

Once again, this year, we were amazed by all the gorgeous, scary, and cool trick-or-treaters who stopped by. Together, you have helped us raise over $280 in on-the-night donations and have helped combat child related illnesses by talking about CMRI.
We would love to hold this event again in the future. Please leave your feedback on our pictures to support the event. And we hope to see you all in costume once again in the near future.

Well the late Barbara Holborow would have had a field day with this one… Not one to hold back, she would have definitely told this petrol station what it can do with its corporate policy of, and I quote, “not displaying any promotional material that does not fit in with the business”.

The item in question was the yellow Experience Croydon Park Festival poster. It would be displayed for a total of 15 days. Yet looking around the premises, this is the image they promote their business with instead – take a look. Most likely they have been there for years.

Very community minded indeed, wouldn’t you say, Barbara ?!

Looking forward to Maranello’s Veloce at our Festival on Sat 12… As I walk up the street towards the Croydon Park Public School, the air deliciously wafts past me from Maranellos. These lucky school kids doing their outdoor activities are getting the best of both worlds. It will certainly make their mouths water!!

I can hear them saying “What’s for dinner tonight Mum?” My recommendation? Linguine with King Prawns. Yum.
